Volunteer
At Rape Crisis Northern Ireland volunteering is crucial to our service. We recognise that we could not provide such an efficient service without the ongoing support of our dedicated volunteers. They are an essential part of our team and the backbone to our organisation.
We look for passionate and committed volunteers over the age of 21 to represent our diverse community and join our team. If you have some time you can spare and want to learn a valuable range of skills, you should consider training to be a volunteer for our service.
Volunteering opportunities involve:
• Fundraising
• Campaigning & Activism
• Information & Support Line
& One-to-One Support Work (Training involved)
• Social Media

As a non-government funded service, we rely on the public to help us maintain and develop the services we offer.
We therefore greatly appreciate donations of any size.
Your Donation:
• Enables us to keep our Information & Support Line open
• Supports current volunteers to continue in their role (supervision, training and expenses)
• Allows us to recruit & train more Support Worker volunteers to deliver front line support to survivors of rape & sexual assault
• Helps more people access our services
• Provides resources for supporting survivors, information leaflets etc

Fundraise
Our services depend on the generosity and active involvement of our committed supporters. There are lots of ways that you can support us depending on your abilities and time available. We rely on individuals coming up with great ideas to hold fundraising events and think of new ways to raise awareness of our work.
Alternatively, you can also support our work by:
1. Believing someone who discloses sexual violence to you.
2. Supporting them to make their own choices about what they want to do.
3. Challenging abusive and sexist behaviour.
